I am an Architect and Urbanist with a background in environmental comfort, energy efficiency, and urban sciences. As a Lighting Specialist workig for a company based in Atlanta, I developed LED conversion and smart lighting projects for buildings and urban areas. With a master’s degree in Urban Engineering, I developed a research that addressed the transformation in the street lighting sector in the context of Smart Cities, highlighting the Brazilian scenario. As a member of IEEE PES and Smart Cities Community, I am the vice-chair of the working group that is developing the IEEE Smart City Planning and Technology Guide Standard project P2784 and publicity co-chair in the organizing group of the 6th IEEE International Smart Cities Conference.
